Invisalign retainer caused a gap in my teeth?

Please see your dentist who treated you as you said you are scheduled to.  It doesn't sound as if anything should be causing a gap under the circumstances you described.Douglas Jopling, DDSDallas, TX area

sorry to hear that you have a small gap after completing your invisalign.  Please remember that when you are undergoing invisalign your teeth are moving.  The reason you are now wearing retainers is those teeth are still mobile and you can still have movement.  You need to wear your retainers to keep those teeth in the same alignment.  As you wear them consistently the gap will close and your teeth will no longer move.  Speak to your dentist and discus your concerns.  Good Luck

Hi Mbates1130,Your retainers should hold your smile where it was at the completion of your Invisalign. If you have a gap that wasn't there at the finish and that you aren't happy with, you should speak with your treating dentist about it.Good luck!
