3 months post-op: Went from a 34DD to what appears to be still a 34DD.

Hi, and thank you for your question. You may well still in the recovery phase of breast reduction surgery, in which it is expected that there may still be some residual swelling. It does take a few months for them to become fully soft again. However, if in a few weeks you are still concerned that there has been no change, I would encourage you to speak to your original plastic surgeon about your options going forward. At 3 months you are too soon in the process to have a revision.  You need to wait at least 6 months and sometimes longer for the tissues to be soft and pliable.

I am sorry to hear about your disappointment after breast surgery.  Assuming you are working with a well experienced board-certified plastic surgeon, you can certainly undergo further surgery.  Of course there must be taken to avoid injury to the blood supply to the nipple/areola/tissues but this should not be a deterrent for a well experienced board-certified plastic surgeon. I would suggest that you communicate your concerns in a calm and constructive fashion with your plastic surgeon. Hopefully, working together you will come up with a plan to achieve an outcome that you are happier with it. Best wishes.
