I Had Vbeam for Bruising After Injectables Now a Lump Has Shown Up Where Bruise Was, Is this Common? (photo)

The bruising is almost all gone in all areas except the one under the eye and now it is raised or swollen. It was not before the vbeam. Is this common or could something have happened from the vbeam to the filler?

A Vbeam procedure will likely not cause any downtime that would stop you from flying the same day.  I use the VBeam laser in my Los Angeles practice and have very little downtime with the patients, unless there is bruising, as associated with very specific treatments with the pulsed dye...

It is uncommon to see “scarring” from a Vbeam treatment. But it is possible that an aggressive treatment may lead to blistering which can then lead to scarring. Ibuprofen is a blood thinner and will only increase your chances of bruising. It is not medically-linkble to scarring.

Yes, I would recommend more aggressive V-Beam treatment for Rosacea. In my experience, subpurpuric (non bruising) treatments are not as effective as treatments that may result in purpura (bruising).  If you’re not as aggressive and the capillaries aren’t destroyed, typically...

The Vbeam has not been known to cause any serious problems to patients with Seborrheic Dermatitis.  The cryo on the Vbeam may agitate it, but it should not cause more “flushing.”  Vbeam targets the “reds” which are the blood vessels underneath the skin. It is OK...
