I had Vaser Lipo, and J Plasma done on my thighs 01/12. The Edema makes it very difficult for me to walk. I haven’t even gone back to work yet. The swelling gets worse at night. I walk around but I spend most of my time in the bed.
Answer: Vaser liposuction; working out hello explosive A short period of rest of 12-24 hours is usually recommended immediately after the procedure. Activity is largely dependent upon how you, the patient feels. Like traditional liposuction, there are no large incisions or treatment of underlying tissues such as muscle that need healing. #recovery #exercise

Answer: Exercise after Liposuction-Ask Your Doctor & After care includes RF treatments (Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra) Cellutone/zwave I recommend following up with your Doctor about their protocol regarding exercise after liposuction. After hi definition liposuction, I recommend waiting 3-4 weeks before beginning to exercise and to stop if there is any discomfort. For liposuction after care, I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Swelling after Vaser lipo and J Plasma Swelling after Vaser Liposuction and/or J Plasma is very normal. Most people notice that it begins to diminish after about two weeks and is mostly gone by about a month after the procedure. However, sometimes it can last 4-6 months. I tell my patients to begin walking as much as possible the day after the procedure in order to help the swelling go away as quickly as possible. I think the fact that you are spending most of your time in bed is making this worse.I also recommend wearing the compression garment around the clock except for when you shower for the first two weeks and then at night only for another two weeks. If you are not still wearing your garment, I think you should resume it because it helps to decrease swelling.Lymphatic drainage massage can also be helpful. In addition, you should be doing gentle massage to the treated areas as often as possible. This increases blood flow, which speeds up healing.Best of luck to you.
