Hello,Thanks for your question.Without any photos is not possible to give a bespoke answer. Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive facial and body treatment that combines microneedling with fractional radiofrequency (RF) energy stimulating collagen production and improve skin texture and tone. This device targets specific areas of concern, such as fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, uneven skin tone, saggy skin. The number of sessions required for Morpheus 8 treatment and the time between each session can vary based on individual needs and goals.Regarding the question "Is one pass enough for a Morpheus 8 treatment?", the answer is that it depends on the individual's skin condition and the desired outcome. In most cases, one pass of Morpheus 8 is not enough to achieve optimal results. After conducting a face-to-face consultation and evaluating the patient's skin and fat, I recommend the appropriate energy level and depth for their specific needs in my clinical practice. Typically, I advise a treatment protocol consisting of three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, which involves local anesthesia infiltration to minimize discomfort. To achieve optimal results, I utilize a fixed depth of 2-4 mm (face/Jaw line/neck area) or up to 7 mm (body) with an energy level up to 30-40 Joules. However, given these parameters, local anesthesia infiltration ( only doctor can do this) is necessary to ensure patient comfort. I utilize the Facetite platform, which is exclusively available to licensed physicians, during the treatment. The number of passes during each session also depends on the individual's skin condition and desired outcome. Typically, I will make two to three passes during each session to ensure adequate coverage and optimal results. It is important to note that Morpheus 8 is a safe and effective treatment when performed by a qualified doctor. The treatment is minimally invasive and has a short recovery time. After each session, patients may experience mild swelling, redness, and sensitivity in the treated area, which usually subside within a few days. It is important to avoid direct sun exposure and use sunscreen to protect the skin during the recovery period. In summary, the specific protocol can vary based on individual needs and goals, and a consultation with a qualified doctor expert in this device is recommended to determine the best treatment plan. All the best,Dr Giuseppe Fiore
For optimal results, most patients require three treatments; however, this can be discussed and determined with one of our providers based on the patient’s needs and unique aesthetic goals.
Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
Hi there, thank you for your question. We recommend multiple passes of Morpheus8 for optimal results. Hope this helps!
There is no set number of passes that is right or wrong. It is very specific to each patient. This is decided by the provider based on the patients skin type, their needs as well as the location of the body being treated.
The answer depends on the power and area being treated. Typically with lower power, multiple passes with lower power are done and in sensitive areas such as under the eyes, lower number of passes may be sufficient .
First, thank you for including a picture. it is very helpful. This is more a matter of scarring rather than hyperpigmentation. This is usually an indicator that settings or depth was too high for the treatment. It can also be a matter of intensification of the treatment due to a lotion or...
Morpheus and breastfeeding is probably safe as long as you are not diretly getting morpheus on the nipples or breasts.
Morpheus is an excellent radiofrequency microneedling tool to rejuvenate skin, reduce wrinkles, tighten skin, tighten muscle and even remove a small amount of fat if desired
