Full ttuck 7/8 years ago after first baby, amazing results. Did a mini 7/8 months ago after 2nd and last baby, noticed no change and have a horrible scar that puckers + excess skin still there. Dr says he can fix the puckering but can’t remove more skin because I won’t be able to stand upright. With first tummy tuck I couldn’t stand up right initially but got better with time and skin was tight. Why is this dr saying it’s not possible? Also had a breast lift I was unhappy with :(
Answer: Tummy tuck revision Based on your photos I'd do liposuction of your abdomen, flanks. Re-plicate your abdominal muscles. I'd also think there is enough skin to excise more and lower and improve your incision

Answer: Revision An examination is needed to know for sure, but it does appear you have excess skin that can be removed. The dog ears can be addressed at the same time. Pockets of fat can be addressed through liposuction.

Answer: Revision Abdominoplasty Your issue could potentially be remedied with either a revision 'mini' or full abdominoplasty. The former would be done in concert with liposuction, which would help with contouring of soft tissue thickness, but more importantly it would allow greater gliding of that soft tissue over the muscle so that more skin can be tightened around and above the belly button. This would facilitate lowering of the scar by a small amount, possible upto an inch at the midline. Muscle wall tightening could be entertained as well. Alternatively, a full tuck would allow not only full muscle tightening, but also optimized skin redraping and tightening above the belly button and more significant scar lowering. This does come at a modest cost of having a relatively short vertical scar located at the midline somewhere below your belly button. This scar represents where the abdominal skin was previously attached to the belly button. Regardless of choice dogears would be addressed and general scar depression would be flattened, making the scar less apparent.

Answer: Revision is possible You do have excess skin and high scar. The revision will take care of both. The only concern is that will have vertical scar from belly button revision.
