Question

The tooth on the photo needs to be extracted, the doctor suggested a bridge. I also want to improve my whole smile ( 6 front teeth), get nice white straight longer teeth. most of them have already added bonding. I have smaller teeth & added bonding to cover the space in beetween. Should i go for 6 unit bridge? Should i do 3 unit and others are veneers or crowns?

Hello and thank you for your question. The best way to answer this is with an in-person evaluation. You have a few options, including dental implants. There are many benefits to dental implants in that they function exactly like a natural tooth, and they don’t impact surrounding teeth as bridges do. I recommend getting a consultation with your Dentist or consult with a Prosthodontist. A Prosthodontist is a dental specialist who has advanced training in restoring teeth and can create a customized treatment using the latest techniques in smile restoration.

Hi:I suggest to do a combination of 3 unit bridge and 3 veneers over your top six teeth.  However, you have to make sure the lab can match the color between he bridge and veneers.  Best,Dr. Maddahi

This is not a case for a 6 unit bridge. My first treatment plan would be and implant/crown in the extracted site, crown lengthening on the other front theeth and veneers. If an implant isn't possible crown lengthening the front teeth then veneers and a 3 unit bridge.
