Hi docs. Can someone please tell me how to identify an allergy to Botox please. I have reacted horribly the last 2 times from it & I've had it before many times. Why am I all of a sudden reacting badly I ended up with flu like symptoms anxiety panic depression and tissue loss problem forming words & much more. Is it wise not to ever get it again? This sucks :(

There is no evidence that Botox causes any kind of bone loss, Botox is only injected in muscles to help them relax, therefore it will help with the bruxism. Just be sure your provider is experienced in injecting Botox.

The Botox should wear off slowly over time. Botox only lasts for 3-4 months in most patients, but I do have patients where the Botox only lasts two months and others where it lasts 6 months. It can last longer than 3-4 months in some patients. Strategically-placed additional Botox may help to...
