Redness and swelling are expected after a microneedling treatment. When treated with PRP this will improve your results and speed up your healing. The skin usually calms by day 4. Using a calming cream after microneedling is always recommended such as, ZO Revitatrol. Best to you, Dr Faraz

Thank you for your question. Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) applied and injected during and immediately after the procedure will all help speed healing. I recommend Alastin Nectar to decrease redness, speed our patients' recovery, and to allow more impressive results. Other options include Skin Medica HA5 and PCA Skin Dual Action Redness Relief.
