Many doctors have different post operative care and recommendations. If you believe you have too much scabbing see your doctor.
yes it is normal appearance for one week. You see clusters of scabs and between them transplanted grafts .. all will be normal after you clean all transplant area in 2 weeks.
Your post operative care is terrible as the crusts remain caked onto your head. Be sure not to pick these off as you now have to wait until they fall off with twice daily shampooing and leaving the shampoo on your head for 5-10 minutes and gently massaging the crusts until they fall off in the next few weeks. The results you speak of are not unusual in the last few years. It is a result of more inexperienced doctors entering the hair transplant industry as machines to assist in FUE have become commonplace. You may not have been a good candidate or the procedure was not performed correctly. Great...
At 13 months everything should be normal regarding your transplant. Talk to your doctor about what could be happening because that's incredibly unusual and mildly concerning- the latest anyone should have symptoms is a few months, so having them for over a year is a very long time.
