Are these signs of necrosis? FTM top surgery post op (Photo)

Hi,Thanks for the post and photos. It does not look like necrosis in the photos. It looks like the top layer of the areolar graft that has yet to shed off.  That being said, if you notice that it is getting dark or spreading, then contact your plastic surgeon.Sincerely,Dr. Dadvand

To me, it does not appear that way. There is some crusting over the nipple. I recommend you follow up with your plastic surgeon closely to track the wound healing.

Thank you for your question. At this point it is unlikely for you to get new necrosis of the nipples. It is difficult to discern what your concern is on the pictures. I recommend you reach out to your surgeon for a quick check up and reassurance. Best of luck!
