I'm a 27year old female with Asian skin tone with huge apples of cheeks that further enlarge when I smile and make my eyes look small. What treatments can help reduce huge apples of cheeks?? Do skin tightening treatments help in targeted fat loss in face? Thanks!

there is no treatment for this, devices in the US when used properly WILL NOT edit fat, but outside the use often they will use ultherapy in many passes and morpheus in many passes to help shrink them. I would avoid liposuction, kybella, or IMO removing any fat because this will make you sag more.  Fillers to contour around and threads with morpheus, thermage, and ultherapy are best. Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

Morpheus is capable of targeted fat loss in the face and body when depth of 4mm are used.  You need to be especially careful around the periorbital area where the skin is thin.  Usual recommended depth in that area is only 2mm.

Ultherapy is designed to lift skin. However there is a tip/transducer that raises fat to a destruction temperature which can make the face look less full. Morpheus 8 helps remodel tissue and can reach sub-dermal layers and coagulate fat during treatment depending on the depth and energy selected by the provider.

Absolutely! Morpheus8 or ultherapy both have the ability to reduce volume and will help shrink the cheeks. Based on your description, you may need multiple sessions of the above or you could do combination therapy which will give you great results! The above treatment stimulates collagen which promote tightening and lift at the same time. In my experience, I have had patients with similar concerns, they achieved their goal for facial volume reduction with Morpheus8 or ultherapy, some also did both and the results were phenomenal!
