Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
An in person or online consultation with a surgeon performing all of these procedures is necessary to give you an answer to your question. MyEllevate is a minimally invasive procedure that sutures the platysma muscle and neck skin upward without any incisions. It is a long lasting procedure, unlike thread lifts. An advanced variant of MyEllevate, called a "trampoline platysmaplasty is probably essential, as most of your sagging is "midline" under the chin and your jawline appears otherwise well defined. All of these are performed through tiny needle holes. The fact that your skin did not contract with the Kybella treatment indicates that tightening it with FaceTite at the same time would be helpful. Morpheus, Fractora, and FaceTite are both made by InMode, but it is my opinion that FaceTite gives better contraction.
This is the problem with just removing fat - if the skin does not contract then you are left with saggy skin. If you are thin Morpheus 8 treatment may be enough. If there is an extreme amount of skin surgical excision may be necessary. Thanks, Douglas M. Stevens
Kybella is a great treatment for submental fullness however it does not work to improve skin laxity. Morpheus8, a microneedling + radiofrequency device works well to improve skin texture and laxity. I recommend 3 treatments of Morpheus8 spaced a month apart from one another in order to achieve best results in the quickest manner. You will see full results about 3 months out from your final Morpheus8 treatment. PDO threads would be a great compliment to Morpheus8 but I would recommend completing your 3 treatments of Morpheus8 before adding in PDO threads.
Hi,Absolutely! Morpheus8 and PDO threads combination therapy will cause effective skin tightening. The only this is that, you will have to complete the three sessions of Morpheus8 (monthly x3) before you can add PDO threads. Both treatment have the ability to make new collagen (PDO threads) and Morpheus8 stimulates collagen to cause skin tightening. Looking at your pic, it appears that the kybella did shrink the fat under the chin and you certainly need skin tightening to tame down the sagging skin. Morpheus8 upon completing the three sessions will improve your skin laxity, On the other hand, threads result is immediate, but you will need to repeat again by 3 months for longer duration (can last up to 2 years or more). Find a provider who does Morpheus8 or threading, get consultation and ask your questions before the treatment.
