Can you get a mini tummy tuck AFTER full tummy tuck?

It is definitely possible to have a mini tummy tuck after a full abdominoplasty.  The question for the surgeon to answer is what bothers you; is it fat or skin.  If it is fat in the lower abdomen then the planned liposuction is a good idea.  If it is skin excess, then a mini tummy tuck would work.

I would recommend talking to your surgeon about what options are available to get you the desired result.  The original surgeon will know exactly what was done at the initial surgery and can determine what else can safely be done. A mini tummy tuck can be effective in removing a small amount of loose skin from the lower abdomen if there is some laxity there.  The bulging you describe might be improved with tightening of the muscles if that wasn't done originally.  Keep in mind that you will always have a little bit of skin laxity in the lower abdomen when you are sitting.  If the skin was completely tight when you are sitting you would have a difficult time standing up straight.  Best of luck!

Yes you can.  It sounds as though you have some loose skin remaining in the lower part of your abdomen.  Removal of this lower skin would be similar to the performance of a mini abdominoplasty.  In this case a new incision could be made by removing a portion of your previous abdominoplasty scar.  The skin and fat layer then would be elevated off of the muscle layer up to the belly button.  The skin within the pulled down snuggly and the excess removed.  This is essentially a mini abdominoplasty.

A full tummy tuck should give a complete result for the entire abdomen from the pubic area right up to the rib cage. If there is any additional loose skin and the lower end next to the incision line, that would be best addressed by a revision, which is similar to a min tummy tuck.

If its been 5-10 years since your original tummy tuck, then a mini tuck could be a small touch up that you would need if you have had any weight changes since your original surgery.

WIthout seeing photos I would speculate on whether this would be a good choice for you, but it certainly is a possibility in patients whose contour problem is limited to the lower part of the abdomen (below the navel.)Best wishes.
