Do my natural breasts sit low? My sternal notch to middle nipple measures 25 cm. I ’m 40 yrs old, mother of two. 5’8” and 195 lbs. What size would look best also? My BA is in 2 weeks. What size?
Answer: Breasts Low? Good morning, Yes your breasts do sit pretty low on your torso, so you could consider a donut mastopexy to lift your nipple position and tighten your skin. In terms of size, it is really personal preference and you didn't post any goal photos or wish pics. The best way to pick a size is to take several different tops to your PS office and try on the implants sizers- then you can select the correct size and profile to achieve your goals!

Answer: Implants Yes, your breasts do sit somewhat low on your chest, which cannot be changed, and you have mild sagging. Since your surgery is in two weeks, you and your surgeon should have already selected your implants size. The selected size is based on your measurements, height and weight, and desires.

Answer: Breast implants The procedure takes one to two hours. You will likely be given general anesthesia, during which you will be "asleep" and pain-free. The surgeon will make a cut under your breasts, under your arms, or around your nipples, depending on your body, the type of implant, and how much enlargement is being done. The surgeon will put the breast implant into a pocket above or below your chest muscle. After the implant is in place, the surgeon will close the cuts with sutures or surgical tape.

Answer: Low breasts Thanks for your question! Your breasts do appear to sit lower than some women’s. It’s likely due to genetics, age, child-bearing, etc. I think you can still have a very lovely result with breast augmentation as long as your expectations are realistic. Without seeing you in person, I won’t have a size recommendation, but I do think a moderate profile would work best for you. Good luck!

Answer: Implant size and type Dear Creative880853, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.
