Breast Reduction Revision? I really want to get the scars revised as after 8 years they are still dark and red (photo)

Scar maturation takes time (up to a year). Once mature, there are a number of options for revision as well as aftercare. Scar can be surgically excised. Firm raised scars can be softened with Kenalog/5Fu injections. Pigmented scars can be treated with laser. Based upon your photos, your scars have settled reasonably well. However, there is room for improvement. I would recommend discussing your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon (ABPS). Post revision consider silicone sheeting in addition to a scar gel, sun protection and scar massage. 

There are multiple things we can do to help reduce the appearance of scars after surgery. Treatments such as steroids, topical creams, lasers, etc. can all reduce scarring and improve color/projection. I would not recommend further revision at this point until all other options are exhausted. Scar revision is the most invasive technique when dealing with scars and should be left as the last step. Even with a scar revision, scarring from that procedure is always a risk.
