Pulling feeling - 4 months post-op breast reduction.

Hey I had a breast reduction 4 months ago everything was fine now im dealing a pulling feeling and it hurts where my incesion are. It stills like everytime I lay down and move very quick it hurts. I dont know what it is can someone help please.

There are complications associated with the use of both heat and cold during the early postoperative recovery period. These should be cleared by your surgeon before initiating either treatment. Your surgeon is your best resource as to the safety and timing when considering such intervention.

Hey there.  From the pictures it would appear that you do not have necrosis of your nipple, especially if this is day 10.  Sometimes after a breast reduction, especially after a big reduction you can have some decreased blood flow to the nipple which can result in a spectrum of results...

During a reduction, enough healthy tissue needs to be "left behind" so healing is uneventful.  Even when patients want to go as small as possible, an H Cup to a B cup is unlikely.  Best of luck, Dr. Greenwald
