Two front teeth veneers VS 4 or 6, advice? (photo)

If you are happy with the shade, condition, and position  of your other teeth, two veneers done by an experienced Cosmetic dentist with a great lab should fill the bill.Four veneers are easier to do for the dental team- blending the shade amongst 4 teethIs less involved than doing two teeth.You stated you want a natural look, so do just two teeth. However, do you think you want to whiten your teeth now or in the future ? If so, factor that in your timeline.My experience is that when we start in on whitening and doing even just two veneers, the patient  really wants the "natural look" to be whiter and brighter than their current shade of teeth. Will you get caught up in the excitement?

One of the most common reasons patients come in to get porcelain veneers is to fix their teeth from a childhood accident. Many times their family dentist will do emergency bonding to fix cracked or chipped front teeth. While this solution is a good temporary fix, bonding rarely comes out looking as natural as enamel, and it discolors and stains over time. 
Porcelain veneers are the best permanent solution to fix damaged teeth that have been bonded. If your two front teeth are the only ones damaged, the question is how many veneers should you get? That really depends on what your goals are for your smile. If when you look in the mirror, you are generally happy with the color and shape of your surrounding teeth, then only have veneers placed on the two front ones. If you're unhappy with the shape and color of your other teeth, then you should definitely consider having 4,6 or even more veneers. 
One other thing to consider is that unlike natural teeth, veneers are color stable over time. So if you only have 2 veneers placed, your surrounding teeth will get darker over time.
I definitely recommend having a consultation with an experienced cosmetic dentist who can show you pictures of work they have successfully completed that is similar to your situation.

If you like the size, shape and color of your teeth, and simply don't like the look of the old bonding, 2 veneers should be just fine.  You can always whiten your teeth prior to the veneers for a better look, without being that much more costly or aggressive.  If you want a more perfect smile than 6 veneers is best (sometimes even 8 or 10!)Steven M. Thanks for your question.  looking at your picture, an experienced cosmetic dentist can do 2 veneers and make your smile very natural.  However if the shape of your laterals bother you, then I suggest you do 4 veneers.  But if you were my child, I would not do more than 2 veneers.  

I feel that 6 veneers will be too prominent and will stick out to those viewing you from the front. Two conventional veneers could be performed by an experienced dentist who has excellent communication with his lab technician.  This will require preparation of the enamel. You could also have 4 conventional veneers performed.  If you are willing to do more teeth(8 or 10) you could consider no-preparation or minimal preparation veneers which do not require the grinding away of the enamel to the extent that conventional veneers do.

in yr case minimum two veneers are required. but now  a days for best aesthetic result dentist recommend 6 or 8 veneers. but that is, when one wants to improve smile. if u r happy with remaining teeth thn no need to go for more veneers. 

Based on your photo I would do either 2 or 4  veneers. Your front two teeth appear to be more prominent than the adjacent teeth so I worry that just doing two veneers will enhance this problem. Doing 4 veneers allows you to round out the arch form. I would not do 6 because your canines are already more prominent. Make sure your dentist is very good at shade matching so that these teeth all match in color as this could be a problem doing fewer veneers. 

Most people, when investing in their smile, desire whiter teeth AND have them match in all lighting situations.  In these cases, 8-10 veneers is best.  If color and metamerism aren't an issue, then I would suggest 2.  Perhaps 4 if there were any issues with the laterals.  I rarely agree with 6 as a good number. 4 veneers will give you a nice natural esthetic and symmetrical result! 

Consider some whitening for the other teeth before the veneers!
