Curious as to the strength of a transplanted hair versus a natural hair. Lets say, a transplanted hair 1.5 years post the hair transplant surgery. If the transplanted hair was tugged on, would it be as strong as a normal hair, or is the transplanted hair always weaker then a native hair?

Almost 2 weeks post-transplant there is very little that can cause any damage to the transplanted grafts as they are completely healed by then. Scabbing is a very normal phenomenon post-transplant and it has to go by itself. Any intentional scratch or attempt...
It can take 6 to 12 months after surgery to see results. You should not be considering surgery until you see the results from your surgery. There may be exceptions to this but that is done on a case to case basis with a doctor (in person) after an examination.
