Is it possible to do a hair plantation on a birthmark? (photo)

It may (or may not) be possible to transplant hair to a birth mark but you would need to see a doctor for a better examination to make sure you would be a candidate for surgery.

Great question. I saw the pictures and one possible diagnostic could be Aplasia Cutis Congenital too that can affect all the scalp layers  + bone. İt seems to be a birth traumatic defect that causes scarrring alopecia.I advice you have a FUE; you would get the desired coverage of the bald area with dense packing hair transplant. 

Hello in Mumbai,Although it is hard to diagnose from the photos alone, this does not look like an ordinary "birthmark".  It may be a "nevus sebaceous", which most usually presents as a hairless, raised area on the scalp, usually at birth.  It can also change its appearance as you grow.  There is a small possibility it can develop into other skin lesions, so you need to have it seen by a dermatologist and have a proper diagnosis made, and perhaps a biopsy.  A small percentage of these can develop into a mild form of skin cancer (a basal cell carcinoma).  Get it checked out first before you even think about a hair transplant.

I would have to examine you to make sure that the birth mark is not vascular. If not, it should take to transplants very well
