I have recently been looking into butt enhancements but since I am on the slimmer side I don't want to do a bbl but I also don't want to spend $15k on filler that won't last. I have found a clinic in the UK that offers progesterone injections for permanent results. I know progesterone is a hormone and it is injected into butt when it comes to pregnancy so it sounds safe. I just want to make sure this is the right thing for me ? It is a big thing in the United Kingdom. Has anyone tried ?
Answer: Discussing Progesterone Injections for Butt Enhancement It's great that you are doing your research before making a decision about any cosmetic procedure. However, it's important to approach this with caution and thorough understanding. Progesterone Injections for Butt Enhancement 1. **Medical and Cosmetic Use:** - **Progesterone** is a hormone commonly used in various medical treatments, particularly related to reproductive health. It is not typically used for cosmetic purposes such as butt enhancement. - There is limited scientific evidence supporting the use of progesterone injections for buttock enhancement. Most recognized and practiced methods for buttock augmentation include Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), implants, and dermal fillers. 2. **Safety Concerns:** - Injecting hormones like progesterone into the buttocks for enhancement purposes is not a standard or widely accepted practice in cosmetic surgery. - The safety, efficacy, and long-term effects of using progesterone injections for this purpose are not well-documented, which raises significant concerns. 3. **Regulatory and Clinical Approval:** - Any new or unconventional procedure should be scrutinized for regulatory approval and clinical evidence. In the UK, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) oversees the approval of medical treatments and procedures. - It is advisable to check if the clinic and the procedure have the necessary approvals and certifications. Alternative Options 1. **Surgical Options:** - **Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL):** Uses your own fat harvested from other areas of your body to augment the buttocks. - **Buttock Implants:** Silicone implants are surgically placed to enhance the shape and size of the buttocks. 2. **Non-Surgical Options:** - **Dermal Fillers:** Though costly and temporary, they are a non-surgical option for enhancing the buttocks. - **Muscle Enhancing Exercises:** Engaging in specific workouts can help build and enhance the gluteal muscles naturally. Recommendations 1. **Consult a Certified Professional:** - Seek advice from a board-certified plastic surgeon or a qualified medical professional who specializes in cosmetic procedures. - Discuss your goals, concerns, and the best and safest options available for your body type and desired outcome. 2. **Research and Verify:** - Verify the credentials and reviews of the clinic offering the progesterone injections. - Look for clinical evidence or studies supporting the use of progesterone for buttock enhancement. 3. **Consider Long-term Effects:** - Consider the potential long-term effects and risks associated with any procedure. - Ensure that any treatment you choose is safe, effective, and aligns with your health and aesthetic goals. While progesterone injections may sound appealing, their use for butt enhancement is not a widely recognized or proven method. Prioritize safety and efficacy by consulting with a certified professional and considering well-established procedures.

Answer: Progesterone injections for butt “permanent” enhancement??? Allow me to answer your question as best i can without any photos. However, please keep in mind that an in-person, or at least a virtual, consultation with physical exam is first necessary before any legitimate evaluation or final surgical recommendations can be made. I can tell you this with certainty, any enhancement from a hormone such as progesterone will be mild to modest at best and, NOT “permanent”, once the injections are ceased. There are currently only two FDA approved surgical options for augmenting the buttock/hip area: 1) Buttock and cosmetic Hip Implants (which are soft semi-solid silicone rubber implants that cannot rupture &/or leak) and 2)Brazilian Butt Lift (aka BBL) - which utilizes the patients own fat from liposuction then transfers this fat into the buttock. On the other hand, BBL using fillers such as hyaluronic acids, Sculptra, etc… is a dangerous, guaranteed waste of money, and is NOT FDA approved. So what it comes down to, like any surgery, is proper patient selection and long-term results. Implants provide the only guarantee for a sustained permanent result and tend to be ideal for perking up not only lean or deflated buttocks but also providing substantial projection to any butt, which is what every single patient wants. Please note that an extremely few number of board certified plastic surgeons specialize in buttock or hip implants, so you may need to travel far and away from home to find this particular surgeon. Glad to help.
