Non-surgical rhinoplasty swelling- 48 hours after restylane. Is this normal? (photo)

Hi, 48 hours ago I had a non surgical nose job at a respectable practise who has significant experience. The results were instantly desirable however this morning I have woken up with a very swollen nose bridge and eyes. I understand swelling can be normal but I'm worried this is how it will look once settled. My doctor did advise me that she hit a blood vessel and there would be bruising. I would very much appreciate any advice you can offer me. Thank you.

I recommend you follow your Dr's orders and discontinue the use of your multivitamin. If the problem persists, schedule a follow up with your injector and discuss a possible hyaluronidase injection to dissolve the product. All the best.

Pressure and tingling at 2 weeks post injection are not normal side effects. Return to your injector and discuss your concerns. You may want to consider a hyaluronidase injection to have the product dissolved. Best.

Bruising and swelling is a common side effect of under eye injections and can last approx. 2 weeks. Ensure prior to injection you avoid ASA products, ibuprofen and alcohol to decrease chances of bruising and swelling. After injections ensure you sleep with your head slightly elevated. You can...

Bruising, swelling and discomfort are all common side effects of injections. If you are swollen to an area that was not injected, contact your injector and schedule an appointment to be assessed. All the best.

It is not common to develop scars with injections. If the injector used a large needle / cannula and depending on administration of the product you may have a mark left on the skin. Schedule a follow up with your injector so he/ she can determine if this is due to the treatment and decipher...

Smoking is not conducive for healing. Although, Many patients smoke and have had treatments with zero negative effects. It should not be concerning at this point. All the Best.
