I am very self conscious about my side profile as it makes me look masculine and fat when I am actually underweight and petite. I am currently almost done with braces which corrected my overcrowding. It’s just pulling teeth back to close gaps on upper and lower side. My orthodontist said he can refer me to a maxillofacial surgeon and suggested a genioplasty. How common is this procedure in UK? Can I achieve a narrow V shaped face with just a genioplasty and get defined jawline?
