Sorry to hear that occurred. It is best to be evaluated in person.  A good plastic surgeon should be able to remove the damaged area with a procedure under local anesthesia and restore your lip shape with minimal scarring.  Best of luck

Not sure why you would have extra skin on your upper lip not after surgery.You can post a photo, that may help.Just ask your plastic surgeon about this.Sorry about the flute dysfunction.
