Hi I had SMP done 2 months ago, too much was put in and around my hairline and it looks awful, the surgeon says he can get rid of it over 3 sessions of putting pin head holes in the dots and drawing the ink out with salt water can this actually be done as i cant find anything on here or on the internet about it, he said there will be no pain or downtime after it, not sure if i trust this information from him, if i could please get some advice on this as i really need to have it removed Thank yo

SMP would not be a problem in regards to a surgery being done on someone who has had SMP. However if you are planning a surgery, it may be best to wait until after you have had results of regrowth and scars from the surgery have fully healed, in order to have a more effective...

Scalp Micro Pigmentation is great camouflage to the scars. SMP works best if the scar is flat. Seek a professional evaluation before you go ahead.
