I saw my surgeon yesterday who told me to massage my rippling implant 20 mins per day. He said to do this for 6 months and if no improvement then he would put a smaller implant in. I'm still very unsure of how to massage them so I would like help on this please. My implants are 400cc and are high profile partials so placed partly under and over the muscle.

Answer: Massaging a rippling implant? Unsure if massage will help but rippling can be an unfortunate consequence of using saline implants. Time will tell if the rippling improves but if it doesn't, you may have to undergo a revision with smaller, under the muscle silicone implants. Good luck!

Answer: Rippling implant? An examination in person would really be needed to say something specific in your case. The creases that you see may be due to the implant, or possibly to the muscle. In both cases, massage will probably do little to get an improvement, but time may help. As your surgeon said, if there is no improvement over the first six months, a revision will be indicated.
