Question

My forehead has always upset me what can I do? I'm 23, perhaps too young for a transplant. Is hairline lowering surgery also not an option? I have taken propecia for the last two years to make sure my hair remains stable. Just to make clear my large forehead has always been like that- not as a result of hair loss. I do have slight recession, I have used propecia, modafinil & Nioxin for the last 2 years and my hair has since been stable. My big forehead has always made me so self conscious

If you always had an issue with your forehead it may be a good idea to see a doctor in person for a consultation.  Propecia will not lower your hair line.

Hair transplants in men should generally not be done until you are at least 26, when the impact of genetic balding usually shows. If you correct this problem now and lose hair with recession of the frontal hairline, they you will see a gap develop between your new hairline and the old one.
