Emax or Procera anterior crowns? (Photo)

Question

I'm planning to replace 4 upper anterior Empress crowns & would like some advice on whether a Emax or Procera are more suitable. My 4 upper teeth have posts & cores and the dark stumps show through my current crowns. Which crowns are best?

I am partial to Procera crowns and get great results with them.  Both crowns are very esthetic and I don't think you can go wrong.

There are a couple of ways you can go but for the highest esthetics as well as strength, eMax is the better option.  With eMax you have two translucency options, I would choose the LT (low translucency to block dark colors) and then shade you teeth with mirror in hand with the dentist and dental assistant.  Make sure you are happy with the shade selection before your start!  The shade of the cement used can help mask dark stump colors and the dentist should try to use a white opaque filling material over the dark stump to improve the internal shade by blocking the darkness.
