Hi, The protocol for stretch marks is one treatment every week for 4-10 weeks. Sometimes if someone is a quick responder we will go for 4 weeks in a row and then start to space them out to every 2 weeks and then monthly. I tell most clients that they should expect to be treating their marks for the better part of a year if they have many marks or if they are severe. The first signs of improvement come from an overall improvement in the tone and texture of the skin around the marks. Next the marks start to fill in and then they narrow and the last part is re pigmentation if they are lighter than the skin. You can expect at least 50% improvement in all these aspects over the treatment course. Some smaller ones may go away, but most likely you will still see some of the stretch marks, so if anyone promises That they will go away completely, they are not accurate. However, after 20 years of treating stretch marks, I have not had one person not totally happy with the results. And as long as you dont “stretch” the skin again, the results are permanent and there is no maintenance necessary. I hope this answers your questions All the best Dr Jamé
