Will the skin return to its previous condition? Could the collagen and elastic fibers be destroyed and it requires treatment?

Thanks for your query. The skin becomes lax after sudden inflammation goes down, but the skin has a natural tendency to regain its lost elasticity especially at an age of 32. You should wait for a couple of weeks, if it still doesn’t change a bit then you should consult plastic surgeon and with a minor procedure it can be restored. Hope it helps.All The Best

Hi, I am so sorry that this was the result of using Carboxytherapy. In my 20 years of using carboxy around the eyes I have never had one complication whatsoever. Without knowing exactly what this practitioner did during the administration of the treatment, I think it is highly likely that they did not know what they were doing. It is very possible that they injected oxygen instead of CO2 since the eyes remained swollen for a prolonged period of time. This is easily avoided by purging the tube for 30 seconds prior to injection. However to have the eyes closed from swelling for a prolonged period makes me think that they didn’t inject any CO2 into you. There should be absolutely zero swelling by 10 minutes after the treatment and never longer than that if pure CO2 was injected. It sounds like the tissue may have been compromised from the prolonged stretching of the tissue. Without seeing the before and after photos I can only recommend that perhaps some rejuvenating therapy to the eyelid may restore its resiliency.
