23 days post op Rhinoplasty swelling or concaving crooked nose? (photos)

Question

i know their is still alot of swelling remaining , buy i have an sharp indentation on my right side of the nose that been apparent since the cast came off, no way can it be swelling thats causing that. the surgeon said that its uneven swelling and it will subside, but it looks like he majorly botched my nose. can i expect a good result out of this ? or maybe it is swelling but that would mean he thinned out the nose too much if all the area beside the indentation is swelling right?

It's too early to judge it's appearance, as it is difficult to determine as swelling may
last several months. 
I'd recommend speaking with your with your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon again to discuss your concerns.

Thank you very much for enquire.It's too early to make value judgments with only 23 days after a rhinoplasty.Swelling after a rhinoplasty depends of the surgery complexity.In this regard, the nasal swelling Post-op It can last from two weeks to two months.To reduce this swelling, I recommend you perform delicates daily lymphatic drainage massage therapy over the face (around the nose) avoid sun exposure, and take pain/inflamation pills, as your surgeron precribe you.Kind regards, Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-

Thank you for your question.Again it is really premature to be passing judgement on your rhinoplasty at 23 days post op. The swelling takes a good 12 months to settle.The reduction in swelling is not uniform, hence the reason why at certain times, it appears as if your nose is crooked. The tissues around the nose are in a process of establishing new drainage systems after the operation, and this is not a uniform process.A lot of patience is required on your part.Hope that helps.
