Buccal fat removal. Did I get enough fat removed?

Question

So when I had my buccal fat removed I looked back at the table where the fat was place and when I looked at it. It looked as if nothing had been taken out. When I see videos on youtube it's as if the fat they take out looks like a huge ball of fat but mine looked like a piece of string. Did I get enough fat removed or is it just the video making it look bigger than in person?

The size of buccal fat removal varies among patients. Most of the time the amount of fat is moderate. Other times is large. Not rarely it is very small. The size depends on the genetics of the patient.  
Sometimes when a partial buccal fat removal has been performed, a completion buccal fat removal could potentially be performed in patient candidates.

Buccal fat removal or removal of Bichets fat pad, can be performed if you have very fat cheeks.  
We all loose fat in our faces as we age and this causes us to loose our facial volume.  This is where fillers have made the greatest difference in maintaining a youthful full face appearance.  The challenge when removing fat pads is to not remove too much and yet remove enough to make a difference.  Discuss this with your surgeon and make sure to use a boar certified facial plastic surgeon.
