I was going to have full abdominoplasty but on day of surgery doctor insisted that I do mini tummy tuck with upper & lower muscle tightening.He explained that lower scar would be more pleasing & that we would not have to worry about belly button necrosis.Now I am 2 weeks post operation and I feel I made the wrong choice.Would umbilicoplasty be possible to create pleasing innie while excising 1 inch of loose skin to remove hernia scar & tighten skin around belly button?

Even though you are four months post op, there is still healing going on. Your symptoms should improve over the next few months. Your surgeon is right- try to give it more time.
