Hi ,Im 20 years old. 5 month ago i get done blepharoplasty surgery and now it still looks puffy. After i get done my surgery i didnt watch my phone or read any book at all for one month. My doctor said it will go down in 3-6 month but last 3,4 month there is no change in my eyes. I cant connect to my doctor . Please explain to me why this is happening . What i should do to make it look normal.

Thanks for your questions and photos.  Post eyelid surgery swelling takes time to go down and may last up to 6 months. Give it a little more time and please follow up with your surgeon if you have any questions or concerns.  Best of luck!

Hello Hana,Thank you for posting photos. It is hard for me to be able to tell how swollen you are without photos from before your surgery.In general, most of your swelling should be gone by this time. However, you will still have good days and bad days in regard to swelling. Sleeping with your head elevated, avoiding salty foods and alcohol, and minimizing makeup may help you. Your skin will still be sensitive in the months to come. You should always be able get in touch with your surgeon, I would suggest attempting to contact them again.
