I just had a consultation with an orthodontist about getting Damon braces. I have crooked lateral incisors which overlap with my front teeth. My orthodontist recommended I get the braces to straighten my four front teeth, but warned me that this is likely to give me an overjet of 2-3mm (my current overjet is just 1mm). Should I go for the treatment, or will a 2-3mm overjet make me look buck-toothed? Is 2-3mm normal?
