Wrong compression bra damaged my implants/stitches? Excruciating pain. (photos)

Question

Does this explain the excruciating pain that I'm in. The original bra I believe was too small and as a result I felt extreme tightness in the both breasts, strain on the sides of breasts near to incisions and swelling between breasts and it cut into me under breast line. I had difficulty breathing. I assumed all this was normal. I have now been fitted into a Better bra, one size up and it's made a difference. I AM WORRIED!

Hello,Thank you for your question. A very tight bra can certainly increase discomfort. Swelling is variable and if you swell significantly, pressure from bra can increase. If you were fitted for a new bra, were you assessed by your surgeon at that time? If you see concerning physical changes, let your Plastic Surgeon know, otherwise you can expect your discomfort to resolve somewhat over the next couple of weeks.All the best

Hi,
I would not worry too much about the bra damaging your implants/incision. Too tight of a bra will cause the discomfort you were describing. You are now in a better fitting bra which is good. I would address your concerns with your doctor so he/she can take a quick look if it is causing you to worry. Best wishes!
