Skinoren and pulsed dye laser - Is it okay to continue my azelaic acid cream?

Hello, I am having a patch test in a week's time for pulsed dye laser treatment. The clinic carrying out the treatment hasn't mentioned the need for me to cease using my prescription azelaic acid cream beforehand. I just want to check that this is correct, as I obviously don't want to sensitise/harm my skin. Many thanks in advance.

Thank you for your question, Pulse Dye Laser can be used for several treatments. In your case since you are using it for facial redness I would wait up to 4 weeks to see the final results. Also, several treatments are required each patients case varies. I suggest having an in-person consultation...

It can take 6-8 weeks to see the results after a pulsed dye laser treatment.  And as you noted, it normally does take several treatment sessions to obtain the best results.
