I had botox in my forehead 2 1/2 months ago and have developed bad wrinkles around my eyes, I had none before. I now have quite a lot of movement in my forehead so it must be wearing off, but the eye wrinkles havent got any better, could this be permanent damage? Would botox injections around the eyes fix it? If so where and with how much should I be injected? Could injections in eye area cause any other unwanted effects or wrinkles to appear elsewhere in the face?
Answer: Botox in the Eye and Forehead area Botox is a great injection but proper placement is key to success. Your Botox was placed a little "low" which makes the brows "move down" and could have caused the appearance of more wrinkles around the eyes. When your Botox wears off I would return to your treating physician and discuss your concerns so that this does not happen again and I would suggest having the crow's feet done at the same time.

Answer: How Botox may give more wrinkles In your after photo, I can see that your mid brow is relaxed nicely, but the lateral brows are lifted a little too much, giving an unnatural "Mr. Spock" eye, with a wrinkle on top of your lateral brows. I am unable to see any worsening crow's feet in your picture, so I assume you are referring to the wrinkles above the lateral margin of your eyebrows. I would suggest that when you are ready for your next Botox treatment you request a small amount be placed above the lateral brows to prevent this side effect.
