I want to get filler in my temples (also tear troughs and cheeks) but can I also continue having Botox injections in my crow’s feet? Will one have a negative affect on the other or affect the longevity? If possible to go ahead with both, can it be done at the same time?
Answer: Botox Hi, Botox can certainly be combined safely with these procedures at the same session. I would suggest fillers followed by Botox. Please consult a medical practitioner for a face to face assessment. Kind regards, Dr Ana. Kat & Co Aesthetics

Answer: Botox and filler together Thank you for your question. Fillers and Botox can absolutely be used together and we frequently combine the two modalities to get the best results. For the temple area filler is best used as a revolumiser and Botox would work well for the muscle contraction around the eyes getting rid of the crows feet

Answer: Combining Botox and Filler Treatments Thank you for your question. Botox and fillers are commonly used in combination to produce more dramatic refreshment to various areas of the face. Botox is a neuromodulator that works by relaxing the muscles that lead to the formation of some types of wrinkles - such as your crow’s feet. Dermal fillers offer additional support to the dermal structure that can restore volume and smooth away wrinkles caused by collagen loss. You can use this combination in the temples and crow’s feet, as long as you work with a board-certified dermatologist who is also an expert injector. In some patients, the eyes tend to be puffy especially in the morning and doing both the Botox and filler the same day in this subset of patients can cause too much swelling. The first time, I usually do them separately. If all goes fine without swelling, I often subsequently perform both the same day. A qualified provider should be able to produce very good results for you.

Answer: Voluma filler injected into temples and botox injected for crows feet wrinkles are done the same day often The hollowness of temples which is common in slim athletic individuals can be often viewed as a representation of a sickly and aged person. Subtle improvement by filling with a hyaluronic acid such as Voluma, creates an immediate impression of health and success. Treating the crows feet wrinkles radiating out form the corners of the eyes is an easy treatment and smoothens these wrinkles and aids the rejuvenation of the temple/periorbital areas. The information provided in Dr. Shelton's answer is for educational purposes only and is not intended to constitute medical advice. Answer: Botox and Filler in the same area at the same time Fillers and botox perform completely different roles and actions. Fillers are great to improve upon areas of volume deficiency and to ease transitions from lets say your check to your upper lip (smile lines) or from your lower eyelid to your cheek (tear trough), or to just add volume to your temples, lips or cheeks. Botox, paralyzes the muscle under the skin, therefore preventing the wrinkles from accentuating and getting worse over time. I tell my patients that filler will instantly improve areas of volume loss or deep wrinkles but they should also get botox to prevent the root cause of those wrinkles. They can be done at the same time and in the same location safely and effectively. Hope that helps!
