I had Vaser Liposuction 5 days ago on my inner thighs, outer thighs ,& knees. When can I expect the swelling to reduce?

I am generally slim and my doctor said he only removed 750ml of fat, so it was rather shaping the area. I am very swollen and i don't see much of result. When can i expect the swelling to reduce? Will i see big difference, since the amount of fat was small?

VASER liposuction produces swelling consistent with the amount of fat removal in liposuction. The swelling can be controlled by liposuction garments and a regimen of massage. I also use Swell X tablets on my patients that are useful for lymphedema. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian

Volume can vary but not the predictor of the results.Swelling after procedure can mask the final contour and studies shown that swelling can last between 14-42 days. Lymphatic manual drainage massage and machine derived therapies help -ask your doctor about it.

This is the time you should expect the most swelling.By three to six weeks, you should have a nice indication of what your results will look like.
