How can I remove seroma and fibrous tissue after abdomen liposuction 7 months ago? (photos)

I'm a 28 years old female I got 360 degrees liposuction of the abdomen , vaser liposuction and J-plasma on 20 September 2021 I developed repeated seroma , later fibrous tissue formed around it and I ended up having a bulge in my upper abdomen the surgeon said that the best option is a mini tummy tuck which I'm not welling to get the scar I was wondering how to remove this scar tissue with lipo possible especially that it was confirmed to be fibrous tissue and not fat what are the options ?

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

There are numerous questions and concerns from your post. The treatment of Ella seroma is to have it drained on a daily basis until it doesn’t return. This needs to be done early as soon as the seroma is noted. Failure to treat this aroma aggressively early leads to a chronic Seroma with encapsulation which can only be treated by exercising the capsule and placing a drain.

I don’t see how a mini tummy tuck is going to address a seroma that is above your bellybutton.

I personally purchased the J plasma device and used it for a year but found only increased pain and zero skin tightening from using it and I have since stopped using this device. I personally did not find it useful and only cost increased problems.

My recommendation to you is the first and foremost confirm that your provider is a board-certified plastic surgeon. If he is then consider getting a few second opinions by having in person consultations.

The treatment of your seroma was not correct or you wouldn’t have one today and the current recommendation doesn’t sound like it’s going to take care of the problem.

A full tummy tuck could conceivably be part of a treatment plan to remove the seroma but not a mini.
