Question

I m at day 6 after co2 laser anti scare treatment. Peeling is already done.however i have redness and i m afraid that it take long time .would pure shea butter and argan oil help healing the redness quickly?.is there any cream that i could apply at this stage. Thé doctor told me tu put sensifine ar of svr laboratry.and clémence cream at night (anti pigmentation cream )beginning from 10 th day. What do u think

I recommend following up with your Doctor about after care and skin care recommendations. Laser results can take 6-12 weeks to settle. I recommend photodynamic therapy to improve healing. Lasers like Co2 work best in combination with other treatments in order to improve the skin's texture and collagen. After Co2, I recommend adding fraxel lasers, microneedling/prp and radiofrequency treatments. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Thank you for your question fazzou. Fractional CO2 laser resurfacing is an outstanding treatment that
can address multiple aspects of aging in a single treatment. Redness is common after a fractional CO2 laser. In our office we treat redness with an IPL about 4 weeks after the fractional CO2 laser if necessary. Please consult with a doctor for specific recommendations. Good luck!
