Tummy tuck scar - Why is it healing like that and is there anything I can do? (photos)

Not sure how to describe this but I'm sure you'll understand what I'm saying. I had my tummy tuck 11 months ago. I've been noticing that my stomach is starting to look weird .It's starting to look like it's overlapping where the scar is. It's very noticeable in thin clothing. Makes me insecure to wear stuff like that . Why is it healing like that and is there anything I can do to make it look even or blend ? It looks like I have a bulge.

Abdominoplasty scars can be quite complex, ranging from the simple hypertrophic scar to a multiplane inflamed keloid. Pigmentation, discoloration, chronic inflammation, scar visibility can all occur in the short term. We begin each treatment with combination therapy using Yellow broadband BBL, Vbeam, fractional erbium, intralesional IIT, and scar modulation. Start with a combination of Plato's Scar Serum massaged twice daily after one week of epithelialization followed by Luminase/Exfolase. Scar consultation and revision may be recommended.

Thanks for the posted photos. I would consider 3 separate or in combination issues. #1. internal organs, ie uterus/bladder causing bulge. #2. Excess sub dermal fat. #3. Hypertrophic spread scar of complete TT, showing either poor healing or poorly preformed closure or both. #4. Failed recti plication of inferior abdomen. #5 any combination of these. Best to first obtain an ultrasound lower abdominal scan or MRI, asap . this might determine the potential/possible causality. Then consider revision surgery, including total TT scar excision and revision with proper suture techniques with either liposuction of abdominal flap with repair of recti plication.
