Will this dent above my belly button go away after TriSculpt lipo? (Photos)

Question

I had trisculpt lipo done 2 weeks ago. I'm still swollen but notice a big dent above my belly button. Will this go away? I am exactly two weeks post op with sono bello and already went to my first follow up appointment. The nurse told me I’m healing fine. I had lipo on my waist, upper & lower abdomen, and arms. The indentation is scaring me because I don’t want a permanent dent in my stomach. I still have swelling but I wear my garment almost all day & do not wear any tight pants. Is this a normal part of the healing process? Should I be worried?

Hi!
You are very early in the healing stage of your procedure so I would hold off on the panic. The body responds to traditional liposuction with a LOT of swelling afterwards, but the amount and distribution is highly variable. 
I would suggest focusing on healthy lifestyle habits, wearing your garment as directed and then re-assessing further into the healing process!

You are very early in the healing process. The body heals at it's own pace following liposuction and may require anywhere from 3-6 months to fully appreciate the final result. Continue to follow your post op instruction diligently as this is  a very important aspect for healing.

You're still swollen at two weeks, so let the area heal and the swelling go away. If you still see the dent and bumps, the best way to make them go away is with a tummy tuck.

to our forum!
Congratulations
on your recent procedure...The procedure of liposuction is an
"insult" to the soft tissues, resulting in swelling which will
initially totally obscure the operative result. The
purpose of a compression garment is to prevent bleeding and to control
swelling. We usually recommend its use for the first 4-6 weeks after the
procedure. 60-80%
of the swelling should subside within the first 6 weeks, with the remainder
slowly subsiding over 6-12 months. 
It is far too early to assess the final result.
Continue
followup care with your plastic surgeon.
