How can I reverse this damage done by 4% hydroquinone?

i have been using a ache spot treatment that contains 4% hydroquinone i have observed that the area that i applies was very dry almost scaly and very dark how can i reverse this damage done ?

For pubic discoloration, I would use a combination of Luminase creams + Exfolase lotion; plus once monthly light chemical peels. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles

I suggest peels and lightening creams for this.  although, there is no "cure" for this and it is often worsened with rubbing.  best, dr. emer.

Inflammation from the peel likely contributed to the darker skin.  I would suggest consultation with a board certified dermatologist.
