Hello! I am inquiring on if a brow lift could help me with this issue. As you can see from the pictures, I have excess skin that folds over when I smile. It does not seem like typical crow's feet with predominantly overactive muscles (though, I could be mistaken). I don't care about much else besides this, eyebrow position doesn't bother me. Could a brow lift (?lateral brow lift) with skin excision help soften this skin folding?

Brow lifting is a procedure that lifts the eyebrows by dissecting and elevating the forehead.As the overall position of the brows is raised, drooping brows are lifted, which can help improve wrinkles&mdash;particularly those around the eyes.However, lifting the brows alone cannot address all facial wrinkles.For deeper wrinkles caused by repeated muscle movement, especially when smiling, a facelift may be a more suitable option.Once wrinkles have formed, it is difficult to eliminate them completely.The goal is to prevent them from getting deeper and to improve their appearance through surgery so that they appear less pronounced than before.

You may benefit from an extended brow lift. A brow lift normally ends above the ear but an extended brow lift extends down to the bottom of the ear. This will pull up the corners of the eyes. Also, the vertical height of the forehead is decreased and the hairline is pulled down.

An Irregular Trichophytic Forehead Lift will definitely improver the excess skin of your forehead without leaving a  noticeable scar. A lateral browlift won’t improve the central forehead. I have done more than 5000 of these -ITFL-since inventing it. Make sure your surgeon shows you the final result with a hair pulled back.
