It appears that you have a lot of blistering. While this can occur at times with different ink (blue, red) not typically the whole tattoo. Our patients purchase an after care kit with Calendula ointment which is naturally antiseptic. When the crusting has gone they massage with a high quality medical barrier cream between treatments (Epionce). If there are blisters, try to leave them intact as they are considered "sterile" dressings. Keep a loose dressing on them. If they break, use Calendula ointment, Bacitracin ointment (we try to avoid antibiotic ointments) or Aquaphor. You may need to change the dressing several times per day. Blistering may take a few days to develop and take longer to heal than after a crusty tattoo treatment. They usually heal very well. I advise waiting at least 8 weeks between treatments or longer for complete skin healing.
