I'm losing hair at a rapid rate (diffuse hair losss) and rogaine only worsened my hair loss, and I don't see much good reviews of prp. I do want to use something but the potential side effects of fin. scare me a bit. I know they are rare. But what i wanted to know is , if i end up in that rare case and if the the erectile dysfunction side effect doesn't go away for quite a few months, is there any help I can get from a doctor to reverse these effects?

"Reversing" may not be the appropriate word - but "treating" may be. Studies are ongoing as to how best to treat erectile dysfunction in men with sexual dysfunction from finasteride. It's clear that the classical medications for ED help most but not all. I do not recommend my own patients who have significant sexual side effects continue finasteride and treat the ED. Stopping finasteride is more often advised.
