What is the best treatment for broken capillaries on the chest and face? (Photo)

I had a few broken capillaries on my chest from a sunburn. I had done a couple of IPL treatments however they did not help at all. During my recent pregnancy these spots became much worse and have now covered my whole chest, from just a few areas. It is so severe that i will not expose my chest at all, it looks like a bad rash. These have also developed on my shoulders, arms, and a couple spots on my face.Since IPL didn't prove to work in my past experience, what treatment would you recommend?

Facial and chest vessels are easily treatable. I would recommend the Cutera excel v 532nm (KTP) laser. The IPL can also be successful, but the KTP is a laser that is more specific for red superficial vessels. The IPL is not a laser by definition. You also have some sun and age spots that can be tackled with the IPL or KTP. Good luck. I would recommend seeking a professional who has experience and can show you before and after photographs from their practice.

The posted pictures appear to be very small vein complexes which in general are very difficult to treat.  Sclerotherapy and topical RF will most likely not help this.  IPL usually is the treatment of choice or topical laser.  See a dermatologist for an evaluation.  Maybe a topical cream can help to lessen the irritation.
