I had 2 syringes injected in my nasolabial folds and cheeks. Half a syringe in each of the 4 sites. Since then I noticed that my temples are sunken which makes me look odd. I had this done 5 weeks ago so swelling isn’t a possibility. The filler was placed using a cannula. What is the best option for me to fix my overall look?
Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Fillers Work Well For Reinflating Sunken Temples The temples do appear to be somewhat sunken relative to the cheeks. Fillers work well for reinflating temples, thereby establishing greater harmony between this important aesthetic unit and the lower two thirds of the face. The choice of cannula vs. needle for this is largely dependent upon the expertise of the injector. However, since this is not a region for novice physicians, make certain that you consult with a board certified aesthetic physician and ask to see his/her personal befores and afters before agreeing to proceed. Best of luck.

Answer: Sunken Temples After Cheek Fillers Hello from Washington, D.C. and thank you for your question! You can actually get filler for sunken temples. It's actually a great treatment after cheek fillers to blend the contours in in that area and help improve the overall appearance and outline of the face. Hope this helps! All the best,Dr. Bobby

Answer: Overall face shape can be improved with temple fillers. Beauty in the eye of the beholder. The ultimate question would be which look are you aiming for? Looks like your cheekbones were enhanced. While some may prefer to have obvious cheekbones but many may not appreciate the perceived increased concavities above (temples) and below (under the cheekbone). This can lead to more of a "peanut" facial outline. Both areas can be easily filled, as long as it is performed by one of the many competent injectors in Toronto. Being in Canada, you will have a much broader choice of materials to choose from. Choosing a competent injector is important, especially in the temple area. There is a potential but very rare risk of permanent blindness, depending on your injector's technique. In some cultures, a widened face is not desirable. If that's the case, then I would recommend removing your cheekbone fillers and seek a consultant that has a sense of beauty that is aligned with yours. There is no one right answer as everyone, including injectors, have different senses or standards of beauty.

Answer: Thread lift for midface Thank you for the question. From your photo, it looks like you have enough volume or you are overly corrected with the filler in the cheeks area. Your temple is nice and does not need volume. I suggest thread lift for the midface to soften the nasolabial lines and shift some of the volume back. Which will give your cheeks more natural look! . Good luck.
